Interested
If you are interested in getting involved you will need to:-
- Attend a minimum of 2 training days in debt advice. These are run with by our umbrella organisation CMA, and if there is enough people can be arranged to be held locally,
- Attend in-house training in counselling and benefit advice,
- Commit to ongoing training to consolidate advice work (this is normally distance learning),
- Commit to at least once a month session at your church or Hope Community Church,
- Commit to at least once a month prayer session.
The Cost:
- Each training session will cost £35 per person for 1 days training,
- Each hour spent with a client requires 4 hours administration,
- There will be administration charges to help cover insurance and office costs,
- All volunteers will be required to fill in an application form and be subject to an enhanced CRB disclosure.
