Hope community Church Worship
We are created to worship our Creator, God. Throughout the Bible it becomes clear that this should be a natural engagement for every moral being. Worshipping God for who He is, not for what He does. Nothing else we may pursue will ever fulfil us like spending time in worship of our God.
John in Revelation 4:10-11 records this: "The twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for every and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say: "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for You created all things, and by Your will they were created and have their being."
We are created to worship. A.W. Tozer, in his book 'Whatever Happened to Worship', he writes, "God has provided His salvation that might be..vibrant children of God, loving God with all our hearts and worshipping Him in the beauty of holiness. This does not mean that we must all worship alike.....but when the Holy Spirit of God comes among us with His anointing, we become a worshipping people."
At Hope Community Church, we desire to engage in and draw others into authentic worship, allowing God's Spirit to move and work. We don't want to entertain, we want to worship. We want to do what we are created to do."
